Beyond Pipe & Pond Seminar
John O'Reilly and associate Keith Fernandes recently attended a seminar at the Waquoit Bay Reserve in Falmouth, MA. It was a day-long informational workshop that focused on the design and performance of stormwater treatment systems.
2010 Lower Cape Expo
J.M. O'Reilly & Associates participated as an exhibitor at the 2010 Lower Cape Home and Garden Expo at the Four Points Sheraton in Eastham. The event was sponsored by the Eastham, Orleans, Chatham, Harwich, and Brewster Chambers of Commerce. It was a busy day full of networking and was a great success for all who participated.
Community Matters
In 2007, John O’Reilly was awarded the Community Hero Award by the Community Development Partnership for his work in promoting economic diversity through their Housing and Economic Development programs.
Also in 2007 John M. O'Reilly and his staff received a Sustainable Design Award for their L.E.E.D. design work for the Provincetown Art Association and Museum from both the Boston Society of Architects and the American Institute of Architects. The award is given for exemplary projects that benefit the built and natural environment through sustainable design.

J. M. O’Reilly & Associates, Inc. is proud to be a local business partner supporting parent group programs for the Brewster elementary schools; these programs provide enrichment opportunities to students. At Nauset Middle School, our company helped fund savings bonds for the eighth-grade graduating class of 2008. In 2009, J. M. O’Reilly & Associates, Inc. will be providing a scholarship to a graduate of Nauset Regional High School who is pursuing a career in engineering, land surveying or environmental studies.
J. M. O’Reilly & Associates, Inc. also supports the Boy Scouts of America; John O’Reilly is an assistant scout master and personally works with the scouts to help them earn their engineering badge by teaching the boys about the engineering and surveying fields.
J. M. O’Reilly & Associates, Inc. has supported the Cape Cod Baseball League (the starting point for 1 out of every 7 major league players) by sponsoring a Brewster Whitecaps game during the team's 2009 season.
